LinXis is located in the Tracer Center Amsterdam (TCA, formerly the Radionuclide Center) of the VU University Medical Center (VUmc) in Amsterdam. The facilities at the TCA are fully equipped and validated for the clinical cGMP production of ADCs for cancer and other diseases and to carry out phase I/II clinical trials in medical oncology.
LinXis has access to (bio)organic synthesis labs, cell culture labs and animal housing. The TCA has a B-level license to work with radioactivity, which gives permission to work with all radionuclides. Typical radio-isotopes used for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging like Carbon-11, Fluorine-18, Zirconium-89 and Iodine-124 are readily available through the nearby presence and close collaboration with Cyclotron BV, a commercial supplier of PET tracers.
